About Davis Wash

Founder, The Silent Victims

In the heart of my personal journey lies a commitment to transform pain into purpose. As the founder of “The Silent Victims,” my mission is to guide and empower youth who, like myself, have experienced the incarceration of a parent.

Born from my own experience of having my father incarcerated, The Silent Victims is a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering determination. Sitting in the waiting room during those difficult times, surrounded by other children facing similar situations, I felt compelled to be a beacon of hope for those who may have had it even tougher than my family—my two younger brothers, my mother, and me.

Witnessing firsthand the silent struggles of children with incarcerated parents, I knew that their voices needed to be heard, their pain acknowledged, and their potential unlocked. Thus, I embarked on a journey to create a platform where these silenced voices could find solace, support, and strength.

The Silent Victims is more than just a platform; it’s a community—a community built on empathy, understanding, and empowerment. Through mentorship programs, educational resources, and advocacy efforts, we strive to break the cycle of stigma and provide a pathway to healing and success for every child affected by parental incarceration.

Join me in shining a light for those still in the shadows. Together, let’s transform pain into purpose and make a difference in the lives of the silent victims.

What social issue, other than your CSI, will have the greatest impact on your generation and why?
The inability to have face-to-face communication has become a critical social issue. Mental health, social development,

digital communication with the benefits of in-person interaction to support the well-being and success of my
generation.
